This past Saturday, October 1, 2011, I had the distinct pleasure of getting in on some BET Hip Hop Awards Weekend action by attending the Sole Music, Charity Shoe Auction. Held at Fly Kix, a sneaker shop in Atlanta with a crazy selection, the event brought out celebrities and well known personalities.
In addition to the silent auction for the benefit of Stone Mountain High School and Walk a Mile in My Shoes, there was plenty of picture taking, mingling, and sipping of Hennesey (not me though! I was working :p).

A pair of sneakers owned by rapper, T.I. auctioned. His release from a halfway house seemed to give the city of Atlanta and the BET Hip Hop Awards Weekend, just that much more special!
Sneakers owned by Kenny Anderson auctioned.
Some of the selection at Fly Kix. (Sneaker-heads insert excitement [here])
Sole Music partnered with Henneey to unveil the Hennessy Kaws bottle, fancy!
I thought the girls working the event were too cute!
Celeb sneakers auctioned included DJ Greg Street, Don Cannon, Ludacris and Travis Porter.
Just because it was a sneaker auction, doesn’t mean I was going to miss an opportunity to talk heels! This is an awesome shot!
Me and Fly Kix owner, Ebonie Word. I could’ve died when I found out she was the owner! I love finding fly women in the most unexpected of places.
I had such a good time! See more pictures of the celebrities and shoes on our Facebook page!
