If you watch VH1’s hit reality show, Basketball Wives, then you may have watched Shaunie O’Neal gleam about her collaboration with trendy shoe brand, Chinese Laundry. While I am not addicted to the show, I am addicted to shoes! No kidding, right?
So, I went to check out the collection to see if it was any good–

I’m not really all that impressed with the collection. It was made for the everyday woman, but has a $79.95 to $200 price range. Clearly, it has been a while since Shaunie was an “everyday woman.” While $200 may be on the cheaper side for her, for many of us — not so much.

With our recent disappointments in celebrity collaborations (think Kardashian Kollection for Sears) I’m starting to wonder if the love for celebrities is so great that it doesn’t actually matter what the product is, only the person who is selling it? I thought the point of celebrity collections was to pair their style with a brand who could help them sell it.
